Terms and conditions for ski rental
These terms apply to anyone renting equipment from SNØ. By placing an order for ski equipment or clothing, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
Equipment rental can be made via our website or at the rental center at SNØ. Full payment is required at the time of booking. The booking is considered binding once payment has been completed. The rental price covers only the equipment itself. Access to the snow area must be purchased separately unless otherwise stated.
2. Use and Responsibility
The renter is responsible for the equipment from the moment it is handed over and agrees to use it in a responsible manner. The equipment may only be used within SNØ's facilities and for its intended purpose.
If the equipment is damaged, lost, or not returned, the renter will be held financially responsible for repairs or replacement. Normal wear and tear is not considered damage. SNØ disclaims any liability for personal injury or property damage that may occur from the use of rented equipment.
3. Return of Equipment
The equipment must be returned by the end of the agreed rental period. Late returns may result in additional fees or charges for extended rental time. In cases of significant delay or failure to return the equipment, SNØ reserves the right to claim compensation equivalent to the full replacement value.
4. Right of Withdrawal for Date-Specific Products
For online orders of ski rental, the right of withdrawal does not apply. Since we reserve a specific date or time for you, these services fall outside the standard 14-day right of withdrawal (Right of Withdrawal Act §22, letter m).
5. Privacy
As a customer of SNØ, you consent to SNØ collecting, storing, and processing personal data, among other purposes, to manage the customer relationship and ensure safety within the facility. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
6. Changes to Terms
SNØ may update these terms at any time. In the case of significant changes, customers will be notified at least two months in advance via snooslo.no, email, or another appropriate channel.
