Terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, quotations, bookings, agreements and advertised products and services entered into or purchased from SNØ. When entering into an agreement or purchasing a product or service, you are deemed to have read and accepted these terms & conditions.

1 Customer relationship

The SNØpass is personal and it is prohibited to share the use of the pass with others.

To book/conclude an agreement or buy a product or service with SNØ you must be 16 of age or turn 16 within the calendar year. For those younger than 16 SNØpass can be purchased by their legal guardian. Children up to 6 years can not become members (have a SNØpass with a monthly payment schedule), but can visit the arena with a knøttepass.

SNØpass can be purchased up to 30 days prior to your visit. If you have not used the pass within 30 days after your purchase the pass will no longer be valid and the purchase will not be refunded. For any extension of the pass, a valid medical certificate must be presented. Memberships (ref #2) is valid from the date of the purchase (or from 15th of January for memberships purchased before opening). A SNØpass (including memberships) purchased as gift cards will be valid for 12 months. A membership purchased as a gift will be activated from the date of the first visit to SNØ.

SNØ has the right to terminate the agreement or exclude the customer form the arena temporarily or permanently if the customer does not comply with these terms and conditions, “SNØguidelines” or is failing to meet the payment obligation.

2 Membership

When you purchase a SNØpass with a monthly payment schedule you become a member. A membership is paid monthly upfront and the first payment for the first month will be done when you go through with the purchase. Thereafter a monthly fee as agreed will be withdrawn from you card until the fixed price period expires (binding period). After the fixed price period has expired the monthly amount will be adjusted to the standard price at that point of time for the same SNØpass product. The membership will continue until you terminate the contract/membership. The contract/membership can be terminated via “MySNØ”. Your SNØpass is valid from the date of termination until the end of the period that has been prepaid (maksimum 30 days). If you terminate the contract/membership during the fixed price period the membership will continue until end of the fixed price period and terminated 30 days after your last payment.

The member is responsible for having correct information regarding payment details updated on MySNØ at all time to make automatic payments possible.

SNØ can change the prices of the product that underlies your membership. The prices will be available at any time on snø.no. If prices increases more than 3% per calender year, you will be notified.

If your monthly payment has not been successful within 21 days after due date, your membership will be paused and the total of your remaining payments for your fixed price period will automatically become due. The membership will be re-activated if the outstanding payments for your remaining fixed price period is payed. If you are not within a fixed price period the membership will be terminated.

Late payment fees and interests can be charged when payment is not received within due date.

Refund

In the event of injury/illness, membership can be frozen, and SNØpass postponed for up to 3 months on presentation of a doctor's certificate.

3 Lane booking

A reservation of lane(s) is not valid until you have received confirmation from SNØ after the reservation fee has been paid. If a cancellation is done prior to 30 days before arrival, SNØ will refund 50% of the reservation fee. If cancellation is done later than 30 days prior to arrival no refund will me made.

4 Customer rights

As a SNØ customer, you will have access to SNØ´s arena at Lørenskog “the arena” within normal opening hours for a period which is stated on you personal access product. Opening hours are available at snø.no

SNØ reserves the right to close part of or the entire arena for limited time periods due to i.e. maintenance, special events or other reasonable reasons. Information regarding limited access will be published at snø.no

SNØ has the right to adjust offers and opening hours in accordance with customer demand and also close or limit opening hours on holidays. If the arena is closed for more than 3 days in a row you will be notified. Information is published at snø.no and as a customer you are responsible for keeping yourself updated through our website.

5 Customer responsibilities

As a SNØ customer, you are responsible for reading and understanding the safety plan for the arena. The safety plan contains amongst other information about emergency exits, evacuation plans, fire extinguishing and first aid equipment and how to act if an emergency occurs in the arena. The safety plan is available at snø.no and in the arena.

As a customer of SNØ, you are obliged to follow the set rules for lifts. If you are under 140 cm, you must take the chairlift together with an adult. This does not apply to cup lifts.

The customer is obliged to read, understand and behave as required by the SNØ guidelines. The SNØ guidelines are available at snø.no and in the arena.

Valuables and other personal belongings can be stored in lockers where these are available. SNØ reserves the right to open lockers that are locked after closing hours and empty the lockers. Lost and found items will be stored for 14 days. The customer must contact SNØ to get the items back.

6 Privacy policy

As a customer of SNØ you have to approve the SNØ collects, saves and use personally identifiable information for the purpose of, amongst other, administering the customer relationship, optimizing customer offers and experience and to ensure safety and security within the arena.

7 Communication

All inquiries to SNØ must be done through email or phone. SNØ will use electronic means of communication to communicate matters of importance about the customer relationship, including newsletters, new offers and services.

8 Force Majeure and Limitation of Liability

All activity that takes place at the arena is at your own risk. SNØ is not responsible for personal injuries, theft or other loss of personal property. The customer is responsible for having proper insurance in place.

SNØ is not responsible for events, including closing or limiting access to the arena, resulting from conditions outside the control of SNØ, that SNØ could not reasonably expect, predict, avoid or overcome the consequences. No compensation is given for unforeseen downtime, e.g. in the event of a power failure, machine failure, etc.

9 Customer relationship management

The customer is responsible for managing the customer relationship, including maintaining updated personal information. The customer can purchase access products, add-on products and make changes in their customer relationship at snø.no through mySNØ.

SNØ is not responsible for errors in the information that the customer has registered at mySNØ.

10 Changes in terms and conditions

SNØ can at any time change the terms and conditions. When changes have significant impact for the customer, notifications will be given no later than 2 months prior to implementing the changes. Notifications will be given at snø.no, email or similar.

11 Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions and all agreements entered into between the customer and SNØ shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with Norwegian law. Disputes arising therefrom shall be finally settled by the Norwegian court system.

12 Right of withdrawal, returns and exchanges

Customers always have fourteen (14) days’ right of withdrawal, under the Cancellation Act LOV-2018-06-15-32 from 01.07.2018.
