Terms and conditions

These terms apply to you if you purchase an SNØ product, place an order, or enter into a contract/agreement for the purchase of products or services with SNØ. When you make a purchase, place an order, or enter into a contract/agreement, you must accept and comply with these terms.

1. Customer relationship

The SNØpass is personal and can only be used by the registered user once activated, with the exception of punch cards (see section 2). Entry is by QR code, which must be scanned at the entrance gates to the snow zone. Screenshots of the QR code are not valid for entry.

Only individuals who are 16 years old by the end of the current calendar year may purchase a SNØ pass themselves. For children under 16 years, a guardian must make the purchase. Children under 6 years old cannot be members (membership with a monthly payment plan) but can visit the arena when accompanied by an adult.

2. Products and validity

SNØ offers the following products:

  • 2-hour pass: Valid for 2 hours from the time you scan your pass at the gates at SNØ.
  • Day pass: Valid for the entire day, from opening to closing.
  • Punch card: Valid for a certain number of visits (5 or 10) and can be used by multiple people. Each visit counts as one full day per person.
  • Season pass: Valid from a specific start date to a specific end date. The season pass is personal and cannot be used by others.
  • Membership: Has a 12-month commitment period and is paid monthly. The membership provides access to the arena throughout the membership period.

2-hour passes and day passes can only be used on the selected date. If the pass is not used on the chosen date, it will expire.

Information about the right of withdrawal is provided in the section below.

3. Right of Withdrawal

Right of withdrawal for products without a fixed date

For products that are not tied to a specific date or time, such as punch cards or gift cards, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with the Right of Withdrawal Act.

The withdrawal period applies from the time of purchase, provided that the product has not been used.

If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you can use the withdrawal form below or contact us.

Withdrawal form

Right of withdrawal for date-specific products

For online orders of day passes and hourly passes, the right of withdrawal does not apply. Since we reserve a specific date or time for you, these services fall outside the standard 14-day right of withdrawal (Right of Withdrawal Act §22, letter m).

For products with a fixed date or time, separate rules for cancellation and changes apply instead.

4. Membership with commitment period

The membership has a 12-month commitment period from the date of purchase. Upon purchase, you pay in advance for one month. Afterward, the monthly amount will be automatically charged. After the commitment period ends, the membership will continue until it is canceled via "My SNØ." The membership will remain valid for the period that has already been prepaid (up to 30 days after cancellation).

If you cancel the membership within the commitment period, it will run until the end of the commitment period before terminating. Canceling during the commitment period will result in the final monthly payment being charged, and the membership will end 30 days after this payment.

If a payment is missed, the membership will be suspended after 14 days, and the remaining balance for the remaining commitment period will be invoiced and due in full.

The membership can be frozen for up to 3 months by presenting a medical certificate in case of illness or injury.

5. Customer rights and obligations

As a customer, you have access to SNØ's arena according to the product you have purchased. SNØ may restrict access to the arena for maintenance or special events. You are required to follow the safety plan and SNØ guidelines, which are available on snooslo.no.

SNØ reserves the right to conduct unannounced inspections to ensure compliance with these terms. If you attempt to sneak in or otherwise evade payment, SNØ reserves the right to issue a warning or ban you from the arena.

Valuables can be stored in lockable lockers, but SNØ is not responsible for the loss or damage of belongings.

6. Product-Specific Terms

Certain products are subject to their own specific terms. These supplement the general terms and include information about cancellation, changes, and execution.

See terms for:

7. Gift cards

Gift cards issued by SNØ are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance, unless otherwise specified. The gift card can be used as a payment method for products and services on sno.no, but cannot be exchanged for cash. Unused balances on gift cards will not be refunded after the expiration date. SNØ does not replace lost or stolen gift cards, and the gift card should be treated as a valuable document. For refunds of products purchased with a gift card, the amount will be credited back to the same or a new gift card.

8. Privacy

By being a customer at SNØ, you consent to SNØ processing your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy regulations. More information can be found in our privacy policy.

9. Communication

All inquiries to SNØ must be made via email: kontakt@snooslo.no or phone: +47 916 31 490. SNØ will use electronic communication methods to provide information of importance to the customer relationship, including newsletters and marketing of new offers and services.

10. Force majeure and limitation of liability

All activities in the arena are at your own risk. SNØ is not responsible for personal injury, theft, or any other loss/damage to personal belongings. The customer is responsible for securing any necessary insurance. SNØ is not liable for events, including the closure or limited availability of the arena, due to circumstances beyond SNØ's control that SNØ could not reasonably foresee, avoid, or overcome the consequences of. No compensation is provided for unforeseen operational interruptions, such as power outages, machine failures, etc.

11. Changes to the terms

SNØ may change these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified at least two months before they take effect.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes should be resolved amicably, and if this is not possible, the case may be brought before Norwegian courts.

13. Force Majeure

SNØ is not liable for circumstances beyond our control that prevent the delivery of services, including but not limited to technical issues, power outages, or closure of the facility due to weather or safety concerns.

The terms were last updated on March 17th, 2026.
