Goal: to be able to stop, brake, and make simple turns – in the beginner area.

For those who know the basics – for example snowplow braking and snowplow turns (skiing) / controlled sliding on the heel edge (snowboarding).
Focus on: starting to ski more independently in the family slope, progressing from snowplow to parallel turns (skiing) / from heel edge to toe edge (snowboarding).
Goal: to be able to complete turns more smoothly and with control, showing the beginnings of proper technique.

Focus on: active use of ski edges, safe skiing in easier terrain / increased speed and improved technique on a snowboard, possibly including small park elements.

Arrival
Meet up dressed and with all equipment needed at the course start time. The instructors will meet you in our course area inside SNØ ski rental on the 1st floor.
Access to the snow zone
The course fee includes entrance to the snow zone. The entrance ticket is only valid during the course period. A QR code will be visible on our website/mobile app under "my courses" on My SNØ 1 hour before the start of the course. You use this to scan your way into the snow zone. If you wish to use the snow zone beyond that, day passes for course participants can be purchased in the welcome center on the 1st floor for reduced price, if you did not purchase it with the lesson. Parents are not allowed to take their children out into the snow zone during the course.
Food & beverage
We have a café on the 2nd floor where you as a guardian can stay for the duration of the course.
Clothing and equipment
It is about -4 °C in the snow zone, so put on warm clothes. Dress according to the three-layer principle with wool innermost, wool socks and warm mittens/gloves.
Do you want to rent equipment?
An equipment package consists of skis/snowboard, boots, helmet and poles. NB! We only rent cross-country equipment for adults. You can rent the equipment on-site if it was not ordered with the lesson.
