The partnership combines SNØ's year-round facilities with Skimore's outdoor destinations, giving more people the opportunity to ski and snowboard throughout the year.

More opportunities to ski – throughout the year

SNØ and Skimore share an ambition to get more people onto the slopes and trails. With SNØ included in the Skimore membership, it becomes easier to combine indoor and outdoor skiing, regardless of the season or weather.

SNØ will continue as the year-round arena you know, with real snow and opportunities for alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and freeskiing. What will change is how you purchase access to alpine skiing and cross-country skiing.

Ole Christian and Øivind discuss the partnership

What will change from 9 November?

From 9 November, you can choose between:

A guest pass for a single visit.

A Skimore membership for access to SNØ and the other Skimore facilities.

You do not need a membership to visit SNØ. It will still be possible to purchase admission for a single visit.

Prices and practical information about purchases and admission will be published before 9 November.

What applies to you?

You already have a Skimore membership

From 9 November, alpine skiing and cross-country skiing at SNØ will be included in your existing Skimore membership. You do not need a separate SNØ membership or a separate registration with SNØ.

You want to visit SNØ without a membership

From 9 November, you can purchase a guest pass for a single visit. You will therefore still be able to visit SNØ without signing up for a membership.

You have an existing SNØ membership

You have previously received a separate email explaining what will happen to your membership. The information in the latest email you received from SNØ applies to you.

You will not automatically be transferred to or charged for a Skimore membership. If you still have time remaining in your commitment period and want to switch to Skimore before the end date you have been given, we will provide information about how to complete the transition. Please wait before signing up for a Skimore membership.

Do you already have a product from SNØ?

SNØ memberships and clip cards have already been withdrawn from sale. From 9 November, 2-hour passes and season passes will also no longer be sold as new products.

If you already have a clip card, it will remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Your remaining clips will therefore not expire on 8 November 2026. Before the transition, we will provide practical information about how to use any remaining clips after this date.

A season pass, 2-hour pass or day pass that has already been purchased will retain the validity and terms that applied when it was purchased.

Courses, SNØborgen and equipment rental will continue

The change applies to admission products for alpine skiing and cross-country skiing. Courses, private lessons, SNØborgen and equipment rental will continue as separate SNØ products. They are not automatically included in the Skimore membership unless otherwise explicitly stated.

The leisure season starts on 9 November

The club season runs through 8 November 2026. During this period, the alpine slope is reserved for clubs and teams, while the park, cross-country trail and SNØborgen remain open to everyone during the applicable opening hours.

The leisure season starts on 9 November, when the alpine slope will reopen to everyone.

Clubs and teams will still be able to book training in lanes 1–4 after the leisure season has started. See available times and book training here.

More information before 9 November

Before the transition, we will publish more practical information about guest pass prices, purchases, admission and the use of existing products.

Our FAQ page will be updated as more details are confirmed. It also contains information about memberships, clip cards, season passes, gift cards and who to contact if you need help.
