The beginners area at SNØ
The beginners area provides a gentle start, and is the perfect place to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, for both adults and children.
An area for playing and learning
The beginners area is located to the right once you enter the snow zone, and has a slight slope for practicing basic skills before you graduate to the more advanced slopes. The Magic Carpet lift takes you to the top of the beginners area from the bottom of the slope.
When you start to feel safe in the beginner area, you can use the butten lift that takes you to the middle of the family slopes (open Wed-Thu from 2-8pm, Sat-Sun from 11am-5pm).

Do you need to rent equipment or clothes?
At Sport 1 on the 1st floor at SNØ , you can rent equipment for everything from alpine, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, freeski and randonée skiing. Boots and helmets are included. In addition, you can rent ski pants and jackets.
