Seasonal staff for canteen and restaurant – SNØ

Do you enjoy creating great customer experiences, and do you have experience from a kitchen, canteen or service role? Join the SNØ team this autumn and help us create memorable meals for our guests.

About the position

We are heading into a busy high season with visits from active clubs, teams and events. From August to December we serve lunch and dinner, and we are looking for seasonal staff and on-call temps who can take real responsibility in operations – not just assist. You must be able to handle operational tasks independently from day one.

Working hours
  • Autumn: shift work with day, evening, weekday and weekend, Monday–Friday
  • Rest of the year: mainly daytime Monday–Friday, with some evening and weekend shifts
  • You must be able to work shifts and be available at relatively short notice
Responsibilities
  • Daily operation of the staff restaurant and coffee bar
  • Preparation and execution of lunch service
  • Cleaning and order in kitchen and service areas
  • Food safety, hygiene and allergen handling
  • Customer service towards staff and visitors
Requirements
  • Experience from a canteen, kitchen or service role
  • Familiarity with internal food-safety controls (IK-mat), hygiene routines and allergen handling
  • Ability to work in a structured manner, both independently and in a team, in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent Norwegian and good English skills

Ice wall coordinator

We’re looking for someone who:
  • Is a confident and experienced ice climber (minimum 3 seasons) with a strong focus on safety
  • Has knowledge of ice and ice formation
  • Is a certified indoor climbing instructor through the Norwegian Climbing Federation (NKF), minimum level
  • Has experience working at height (rope access techniques)
  • Is hands-on, solution-oriented, and passionate about the field
  • Has a strong desire to inspire others through unique experiences
  • Is a team player with energy, drive, and a solution-first mindset
  • Wants to contribute to reaching our goals and delivering a world-class customer experience
Tasks:

We’re still shaping the world’s most thrilling year-round snow experience, so not all responsibilities are fully defined. As SNØ grows, so can you - your attitude and passion for the project matter most. In the beginning, your role will include:

  • Responsibility for maintaining equipment
  • Follow-up with instructor team, including recruitment and development
  • Lead responsibility for activities and concept development
  • Monitor and maintain equipment routines in line with supplier recommendations
  • Monitor ice maintenance routines and assess ice quality weekly
  • Plan and carry out work at height on the Mammut Wall
  • Act as instructor for courses and events as per guidelines
  • Continuously evaluate safety during courses
  • Weekly maintenance of the wall, gear, and watering system in collaboration with operations team
  • Execute work at height in coordination with operations manager
