The club season During the club season, the alpine slope is reserved for alpine skiers in clubs and teams, and set up for great training conditions. The cross-country trail and the SNØcastle stay open to all guests as usual. The park is open, but during the club season puts more focus on rails – see separate section further down.
The club season runs from 3 August to 8 November.
Only alpine skiers in clubs and teams can rent lanes in the alpine slope. This is done by the club/team – click here to book. All athletes training with a club/team must also have a valid SNØ pass (e.g. a day pass). Lane booking is done by the club/team, while each athlete must have their own pass. See all the passes here.
Season pass Planning to ski throughout the autumn? With a season pass you choose your discipline — alpine/park (combined) or cross-country — and get access to the snow zone during the club season (3.8–8.11), as well as a locker on the 1st floor on the days you visit SNØ. Young children (0–5 years) enter free of charge when accompanied by an adult with a valid pass. Buy a season pass.
For clubs and teams During the club season, we offer up to 8 training trails, stable conditions every day and no cancellations due to weather. New this year: AI video recording with SnowEye, gates included through our partnership with LISKI, ski-in/ski-out accommodation at Thon Hotel Snø, dedicated catering for teams and airport transport.
See everything and book training time on the clubs and teams page.

The leisure season During the leisure season, the alpine slope is open to everyone. We then rebuild the slope and create fantastic SNØ experiences for all ages. In addition, there will be ski school, activities, entertainment and fun.
The leisure season begins 9 November.
The park, cross-country and the SNØcastle The park is open to everyone all year, but changes character during the club season. We then reconfigure the park with more focus on rails: a longer rail line with more rails in a row and more demanding elements. The area itself becomes narrower, so there's no room for free skiing – during the club season, the park is for those who want to ride rails. Follow us on social media and service notices for when sections are partially closed during the rebuild. The cross-country trail and the SNØcastle stay open to everyone all year, and are not affected by the seasons in the alpine slope.
Why does SNØ have a club season and a leisure season? SNØ is popular in the autumn – and that's great! Here you'll meet professional athletes, jibbers in the park, families with young children, recreational skiers and many more. To create good offerings for everyone, we've split the alpine season into a club season and a leisure season.
During the club season, we open more training lines so that both young and experienced athletes get a great training offer from 3 August to 8 November.
During the leisure season, the alpine slope is open to everyone and set up for SNØ experiences for the whole family, with ski school, activities and entertainment from 9 November. The cross-country trail and the SNØcastle are open to everyone all year. The park is also open, but during the club season puts more focus on rails, without free skiing (see above).
